Hello, Lovelies.

I'm Sara Brook—a twenty-something-year-old full-time graphic designer and beauty professional living in Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm obsessed with all things lovely: fashion, beauty, design, and life. I love Barre classes, cats, online shopping, decorating and I blog.

AvenueShe was named for these reasons—Avenue for a place to land and a way to share & She for just being me—a girl who aspires.

For as long as I can remember I have intoxicated myself with beautiful design, color and rich texture. When I am completely overwhelmed, nothing calms me like running my fingertips though an array of fabrics and feasting my eyes on lovely pieces.

You will often find me online searching for inspiration. I also am known to fill up my shopping carts with thousands-of-dollars worth of merchandise, which then only allows me to day-dream of the day when more than extensive credit card debt will be able to make my shopping dreams come true.

I am very much a proponent of class over trend, quality over quantity, and love above those rules.

I believe design will change the world and that wearable art is a step in the right direction. I know inspiration is everywhere (even other places than Pinterest, shocker). My goal here is to share my loves, style, and passions.
