Bright Night Event

   Last night I was so lucky to get my hands on some tickets to go with my girl friends to the first–and completely sold out–Bright Night Event! It was full of laughter and music (live DJ-Holla!) and seriously… So. Much. Fun.

All who attended brought gifts to donate to the local women's shelter. #Awesome. It's so important, not only this time of year during the Christmas season, but to always be thinking about people in need. I completely believe in sharing the blessings that you have, and I should be more cognizant of my personal behavior when it comes to this concept. I was able to bring a shopping bag of winter things that I had been holding onto—I know those women will really give them [much needed] love, and that makes my heart happy. We put our gifts under a festive tree and we were able to see the abundance of donations over the night grow. The generosity was really inspiring to me.

Moving onto the rest of the night… Of course great food was abundant, and hey, you totally need that to kick your party up to perfection. The Sweet Tooth Fairy catered their beyond delicious cupcake minis and cookies, Diet Coke was radially available, and let's just say hummus and carrots first then chocolate-chocolate-chocolate.

We did a little take-home craft designed for us by The House Of Smiths. This little white bowl with golden-lovelyness is completely so fantastic. I am beyond in love. I wanted to make 10! Everyone's was uniquely gorgeous. It reminds me of Kate Spade, which as you know, is my happy place.

Meeting new friends was the highlight of my night. There are earnestly so many great women out there and it's absolutely fantastic to get together in such a lively environment to network and grow with each other. Go for what you want. Design your life. Take everyone with you.
